Someone New

i think i have found someone new
someone to be my everything
filling in the holes left behind

Making me feel whole again
taking away all my pain
feeding my empty heart

Giving me something to believe in
something to live for again
to know I am alive

Sharing my joys and love
holding me during times of sadness
letting my tears fall on you.

Author's Notes/Comments: 

This poem was written not only by me but by two others. Breanna Shaylee wrote the first line of every stanza, I wrote the second and our very dear friend Doug wrote the third. I am so very happy to have both people in my life and I know that we make beautiful poetry together. I love you guys.
