I need to be courted,
I don't want to be
just another notch in your belt.
I've been screwed many times before.
I want the thing between us
to mean a whole lot more.

You came into my life
like a whirlwind,
meant for another woman.
You charmed me with your smile,
Made me laugh so hard
my stomach hurt for the night.

You made my skin tingle
with the touch of your finger tips.
You made my blood boil
with the touch of your lips.
You brought me close to the edge
it took everything I had not to jump.

I don't want you to be off limits
But I don't want to hurt anyone.
I don't want this to be
because you paid attention to me.
I want everyone to be okay.
I just want this to be more.
