Other Side

So here I am I’m trying, are you ready?

I’ll miss your laugh, your smile. . .

I’ll admit I’m wrong if you’d tell me.

I’m so sick of fights, I hate them.

Lets start this again for real.

I’ve been here before a few times,

And I’m quite aware we’re dying.

Come on let me hold, touch, feel you

You believe what you want.

And you said what’s been said,

And I do hope you learn a lesson

I tried to save us, But little did I know

You are a speeding train off track,

With little time to go. . .

I tried everything, tried so hard to let you know.

But now I’m on my last thread,

Pulling away with no avail.

Now, It’s our time,

And I’ll see you on the other side.

This is a poem about leaving him behind, you may not want to, but you knows its best for you...
