Ana Cecy

I used to have a friend, I said used because something happened to her, her  name was  Ana Cecy , she was a happy and smiling  person; you could always  count on her to be your support, she didn’t deserve what happen to her but sometimes we just don’t deserve everything we get .

It was Friday after classes, her family left the city for the weekend, to see their grandparents that lived in a near town called Valles, which is just one and a half hour, by car, from the city, and Ana Cecy was supposed to catch-up after lunch. Ana Cecy and all her friends were going to get some food at Kurai, a recently opened sushi restaurant, to celebrate her best friend’s 18th birthday, Paulina. They were very excited because now they were all 18, they could enter night clubs. They had been waiting for this since they were ten. Everything at lunch was great, they were having so much fun all gathered together, but now Ana Cecy had to catch up with her family, so she said goodbye to Paulina, with a great hug and a goodbye kiss, and she left for her journey.

Nobody expected what was about to happen.

Ana Cecy went to her house to get her luggage for the weekend. When she got home she realized her sister, Valeria, stayed to wait for her, so they could make the journey together. They were both exited to have this road trip alone.

They started their trip at around seven pm; it was beginning to get dark, at around seven and a half Valeria started to get sleepy but she wanted to stay awake to not leave Ana Cecy alone in the wheel because that street was very thin. Valeria don’t stand longer and she fell asleep.

They take my friend to the hospital, there they couldn’t fix her, in the ambulance it was already too late for her, it was a horrible accident nobody believed it. I don’t see the car crashed in the river but I imagine what Valeria felt seeing her sister lying there in the water.
