This is where I awaken
Where I lay my head to sleep
This is where my memories are
And where all my secrets keep

Here is the place I find respite
To decompress or play
My primary sanctuary
In which to read and pray

Here is where I extend a welcome
Though not often am I prone
For this is my place of refuge
When I need to be alone

This is the base that calls me
However often that I roam
The place to which I always return
I just wish that it was home
