The Transformation of the World

To be in charge of keeping an eye on Eh was so simple that it was so hard. There was nothing exciting on watching a dark, cold, rocky place, where nothing happens but time. Being the son of the Great Star instead of making me feel powerful, makes me feel useless. He’s the one who could shine bright and light up the dark and the cold. And I’m just some lone star, just another one of the billion trillion that exist. But I don’t know why I always knew my assigned planet to guard, had something different… a potential to transform the universe.

I wanted to do something different I have known so many different planets, some were big and some were small, some were red some were blue, some were cold and some were hot, but at the end they were all the same, empty. Every one of my brothers and sisters were so proud of what they had but it wasn’t so much. I wanted something more.

So one day I decided to pray. And I did. I prayed to Mother Nature and asked her for advice. I told her my thoughts and feelings, and that I wanted to transform Eh into a masterpiece. But I did it out loud.

When my father heard my prayers, he didn’t understand me, he got so mad he exploded.

Then I knew Mother Nature had heard my prayers, making my father listen to them too. When he exploded, he made himself the Sun. He finally let his light shine bright enough to light up the skies of my planet. He was giving me his support.

From the light my father emanate a transformation began to happen. My planet, Eh, began to fill up with blue, from the rocks green stuff began to emerge and then things began move, all kind of fantastic things were created. It was a masterpiece indeed. It was art. It wasn’t Eh, but now it was Earth.

Few years have happened and I’m still keeping an eye on Earth, my once dark, cold and rocky place is now a colorful, warm and beautiful one, I have become very proud of my planet. Now it is alive. I’ve let Mother Nature give life to thousands of different species. And I find living things so fascinating. I’m never bored.

To be in charge of keeping an eye on Earth has been an adventure. I’ve seen people live and do so many things. Some good and other mistakes… but it’s all part of the great experience I’ve been having. It’s all worth the good moments I’ve watched among living things.

Time is divided into beautiful days, that my father starts with an incredible sunrise and ends on a stunning sunset. That’s how I know he’s proud of me. And most importantly, I’m proud of myself too.
