gun analogies

Hyacinth garden

she struggles to see
an ancient illustration
she is distracted, something elusive betrays

those old black thoughts beside her shadow
the ones in the dominion of darkness
deep and voluptuous, intensely she strays

among her complaints is her impulse for love
her mouth is wide open and cannot be shut
her breath oozes vapor respiring her body's scent

then her mouth is tightly shut and cannot be opened
her tongue was bitten, she'll swallow the words
she holds back the tide of her good intent

she pretends to carry gun analogies
but nobody here is frightened of her sight

her heart's desire hangs from balconies
along with her ammunition that was forsaken at midnight
