The Moons Beautiful Sorrow

She wades at the ocean shore.

Warmth envelops her being like never before.

Sun lit, marvels all of the day.

Now venerable dusk closes purple under.

The moon lies bright upon the bay.

Luscious is the night like a land of wonder.

Hear winds spellbound cry.

Distances calculated in the plane of the sky.

It calls her heart from heaven.

Comes the time that fate gets even.

Bask in the light of that dreamy moon.

Somehow, it went awry too soon.

Now dark angels whisper negative grace.

While she floats within her vessels earthly space.

Good becomes bad and at worse belies.

No answer to the question why.

Too quickly, her warmth disintegrate.

The moon shows her how the heart becomes desolate.

When the written words express what they do not mean.

Hear them relate the hardest times ever seen.

When words lost message read aloud.

Her mind is adrift in living cloud.

The orb disappears behind darkened skies.

She drains oceans from the vapors in her eyes.

Then she swallows the source with all its sorrow.
