You seem so eager to ask that question
We've been through this before
The best part of all of it
Is it will only happen once more

And that's the day I'll looking towards
Like the sun's appearance in the eastern sky
Knowing that it will come
But not the precise time

Your secret fiancee I now am
And soon to be your wife
I'm looking forward to spending
With you the rest of my life

We both know we have so many
Tough roads that lie ahead
Plans to be laid out, questions answered
Prior to that marriage bed

And even then we may be separated
Living for some time apart
I know that it will be hard
On both our tender loving hearts

But one day, if the Lord so wills
We will be rewarded for our endeavors
No more distance, because we
Will be able to abide together

Love like a fountain can bubble over
And joy forever fill our eyes
Facing whatever comes our way,
With God's help, you and I
