Her Pain

Folder:
Poems 2011

She is young, younger than when we first met
Her hair was short and frenzy
Planted on a face only a mother would love

Her tears stream from her face to her feet
I always wondered why she had to be so different from the crowd
GOD why create a creature that no mortal will truly love

It pains me to see that my baby dealt with so much pain and torment
Her pain is now mine, but only emotionally
After this experience, I will never imagine or guess her pain again

As she grew older in minutes or however time is measured in a dream
She then fell in love, so the pain hindered
though it haunts her mind every now and then

With the help of family and friends
She strongly overcomes the pain
The pain that I did not cause, but the pain I want to react.
