IN A WORD

Their fire spead two continents,

heating the ocean by thermogenic osmosis.

Two souls,

on a cosmic track?

One

ill-spoken

word;

and the hiss from the cooling embers deafened me.

Her heart,

wet ash.

So powerful , I reread it and it takes me to an ocean of thoughts that go astray , still I can converge somewhere with that feeling , with that thought ...it enlarges the perception and make out of this piece of poetry a shared property of all those ,who read it ...great insight ,and a beautiful poem , Valerie ! Wet ash?~!...Oh yea, very interesting metaphor...and so is the 'cosmic track' and the 'hiss'... Wowowo...evoking~!~ i guess i can relate much to this , i have lost many Net ICQ friends this way too....just a BYE ( or even no farewell) and he/she is out of my cyber world, and real world, forever. smilesz, oh well~~~
