Listen gently, listen softly,
Listen as you sweetly mock me.
Speak in silence, speak in spirit.
Close your eyes so you can hear it.
Whisper tender, whisper calmly.
Hushed demeanor seems beyond me.
Quiet, sweetie, not so loud,
Speak your mind without a sound.
Words mean next to nothing to me,
Feel your silence cutting through me.
**Talk is cheap, with reason for it,
But broken hearts just can't ignore it.**
Bite your tongue if it's not helping,
Or sweet things may end up melting.
Still your constant speech erupting,
It's sweet bliss you're interrupting.
Slow your speech, and haste your hearing.
Less confusion when you're near me.
Murmur gently, but don't mumble.
Don't shut up, just be more humble.
Please don't yell and please speak softly,
Raised voices have long since lost me.
You're too loud for me to hear you,
Quiet down, you'll be more clear too.
Be more quiet to talk to me,
But don't ever not be you, dear.

you are a good man and you inspire me .
