Come Swim?

Here's to no more one night stands.
To you and I both holding hands.
In the Pursuit of Happiness we walk through life,
To deal with troubles and with strife.

To the secrets revealed to open up,
And prove to the other we're both messed up.
You're the only woman I want to see,
So take my hand, come swim with me?

I'll show you what I'm all about.
What makes me cry, what makes me shout.
I'll show you why as I lie here
When I should sleep, I write my dear.

Come with me into my mind.
Though I'm not proud of all you'll find.
My dads not there, my stepdads dead.
My grandpa passed, asleep in bed.

I've watched remains be torn from planes.
Their helmets melted to their brains.
I've seen some things I wish weren't real.
They affect, each day, the way I feel.

My hearts gone hard to deal with pain.
My tears have poured without refrain.
But on the inside one things true.
I'm still as sensitive as you.

I'm still a Pisces by design.
I still want you dear, to be mine.
I still want love to fill my heart.
I want that other fishy part.

To fill our sign and take to sea.
So again I ask.. Come swim with me?
