DROWNING

Doesn't matter how hard I try

Cant seem to find

A way to get you out of my mind

Constant memories remain

And they remind

Me of distant times

I cant break away

I'm forever stuck in yesterday

I'll never be free

Because when you left you took along a part of me

Which without, I am completely incomplete

Struggling to breathe

Im rapidly sinking

Almost at the bottom

With rocks in my pocket

Bounded by unbreakable chains

Every breath I fight to take

Takes me further away

Trying to stay awake

But I keep falling into this deep sleep

I know there is no escape

Ive sealed my own fate

Now the bottom waits

Soon Ill hit the bottom, where I will stay

Where my existence is unwelcomed

Where time will slowly put me to waste.
