Seasons

It rains so hard

The sky is gray

The bloodstains on this boulevard

Our tears will help wash away

The clouds begin to disconnect and rearrange

The sun starts to shine on though

The seasons change...

So do you

...April showers have flooded our love, but the flower has yet to bloom

Even if our garden could grow, I'm sure all our plants would be saturated by your poisonous perfume...

We find ourselves together again...

So far away

We feel the rain descend from the sky again

Wishing for a sunny day

We find ourselves alone and apart again

You led me astray

We watch the seasons drastically change again

To another shade of gray

The heat wave finally starts

In the deepest layer of Hell

Our frigid and tainted hearts

Will help to reverse the spell

It seems so surreal and strange

I wish none of this were true

The seasons change...

So do you

...Summer promises bliss and warmth, but my dreams have yet to come true

You're right by my side when my eyes are stitched shut, but when they open, I walk these lonely streets desperately trying to find you...

We find ourselves together again...

So far away

We feel the rain descend from the sky again

Wishing for a sunny day

We find ourselves alone and apart again

You led me astray

We watch the seasons drastically change again

To another shade of gray

The leaves fall down

The breeze blows them away

The wicked wind is the only sound

My name I thought I heard you say

You're somewhere out of my range

I don't have the slightest clue on what to do

The seasons change...

So do you

...Autumn evenings kill our future every time another gray leaf falls from our relationship's dying tree

I feel your presence and touch everywhere I go, but my own reflection is all that my arid eyes can see...

We find ourselves together again...

So far away

We feel the rain descend from the sky again

Wishing for a sunny day

We find ourselves alone and apart again

You led me astray

We watch the seasons drastically change again

To another shade of gray

The snowflakes fall

Such a heavy and catastrophic price

Our battle cry and forfeiting call

Melts the frozen ice

One last kiss we exchange

In my head I envision this splendid view

The seasons change...

So do you

...The winter offers little daylight, for its nights are cold and long

Replaying our omega in my vacant mind, wondering what went so wrong...

We find ourselves together again...

So far away

We feel the rain descend from the sky again

Wishing for a sunny day

We find ourselves alone and apart again

You led me astray

We watch the seasons drastically change again

To another shade of gray

...The seasons change

So do you

Such a sad exchange

I'm so lost without you...

We find ourselves side by side again...

So far away

We feel the snow freeze our feeble future again

We can't throw the past away

We find ourselves lonely and loveless again

We silently hang our hollow heads and painfully pray

We witness the seasons tragically turn again

But it's always just another day, another shade of gray
