True Love

You've left me

you've gone so far away.

The tears I've cried

the fears inside

that from I still shy.

I opened up my heart

with you shared my soul.

When you were taken from me

so too was taken

that which once made me whole.

With you the pain and pleasure became one

our time together not yet begun.

Your laughter still echoes through my mind.

When alone and hurting

often I imagine, your smile so kind.

Often your laughter lingers on

as if it, you have left behind.

So sobbing here upon the floor

or crying silently inside

I shall remain

until the day I too shall die.

I like the way you expressed your self in this poem, I feel like it is one of your best from all the rest.
