Unspoken Words

Her unspoken words are
the tear stains on her cheeks,
The scars on her wrist

Her unspoken words are
the smile she shows every day,
so no one will know the pain
thats killing her on the inside

Her unspoken words is
the laughter coming from her
shameful lips, that only hide
the screams of pain from with in

Her unspoken words were written
on the blood stained paper
of her final day, before she took
all her pain away

No one knew of the misery she carried,
but then again who could?
when they didn't even ask the reason why...

Why were there tear stains on her cheeks?
why were there scars on her wrists?
Why did she feel so much pain on the inside,
when she was so loved on the outside?

But now she is happy, now that she is free
for there was smile left
on her lifeless lips.

The smile was no longer fake,
nor hiding the pain
It was finally pure happiness

Comparisons For Pain

Pain is like: falling and breaking something important, like a bee sting on a mosquito bite, pain as big as a fingernail and awful as a paper cut, like my heart hurting, like the wail of a baby too long in the crib wanting milk, pulsed as if needles dug too deep...pain within is less descriptive, less emotional - welcome to PP - nice writing, encore! - Lady A
