When Night Meets The Day

Did you see the trees glisten

as the sun burns through the

morning dew.

The streaks of color all through

the sky,as if they were finger

painted from someone on high.

The ripples on the water as they

roll to shore,these are things

i never noticed before.

The gentle breeze through the

meadow grass, the swaying of the trees

the sounds of bumble bees,as they drain

the flowers of their sweet honey.

As the nite meets the day in all

it`s splendor,these are the things

i will always remember.

And when the nite meets the day

you know the beauty is on its way...

great piece Ron, looks like you, me and Pam Schwetz on same wave length of idea for a poem..Funny how that happens at points...

I really enjoyed most of this poem. I didn't understand what you meant by "painted from someone on high." I guess it means they're on some kind of drugs, but I don't associate that with beauty. Anyway, I loved the rest of the poem because of your flow of words, sentences, stanzas, but most of all because of the depiction of nature. Thank you for giving me a beautiful image to smile upon and God bless.
