For every night spent waiting in vain for you to call or return home....
You're forgiven..
For every lie you told with the excuse that you were only trying to spare my feelings...
You're forgiven...
For every vow unfulfilled...
Every harsh word spoken...
Every tear I had to cry...
You're forgiven...
Now for every unreasonable demand...
For every time I may have pushed or turned you away...
Every time I seemed distant and didn't bend my knees to pray...
I apologize...
This is a great piece of work!!....You may be married, but me, I have been in a relationship for 2 years and it can relate to this. Sometimes you need to just forgive and forget to "try" to get things to work. So anyways, thanx for commenting on my poem though. And keep writting...
