Better Man

You taught me I was fragile,
even when I thought I couldn't break,
you showed me how to give,
more and more,
just like the way you did,
but it could take a little while,
to pick up all these pieces you left me in,
they are everywhere,
all over here,
and I don't quite know where,
to begin,
but piece by piece,
I'll learn to live,
a better man,
just like the way you did...

    Sad about your friend

Sad about your friend passing away; but your poem is so hopefull for the future. To putting the puzzle back together again. An endearing poem, liked your forthrightness throughout the poem, well written and a good read.
