I stood staring in the mirror
And all that i could see
Is what the booze and drugs have done to me
Im looking about 40
Im only 23
Is this what people see when they look at me
My face is pale and gaunt
Got blood shot eyes
Lord knows what its done to my insides
Got to get off this crap before it takes my life
Its going to be a battle
But im well up for the fight
So im gonna do it
Starting with tonight
Because the image in the mirror
Was such a horrid sight
Now a few years have passed
I havent touched a drop
Not done any drugs
Now i look at my mates
Still drinking and doing drugs
All i keep thinking is
What a load of mugs
