30 seconds to pain

i'll disappear in your eyes

and taste freedom in your smile

i'll search every language

for the right way to say

i love you

i'll love you

even more then yesterday

and tomorrow will never

look as nice

as now

hope will float on

petals from the flowers

that bloomed for you

i'll forget you exist

and close up on love

i'll build up a wall

made of

all things unloveable

(it'll be part me)

and stand on the other side

crying

i'll wish love could see past

face value

(you can't buy a heart on looks alone)

but you'll try

and i'll let you

because any kind of attention

is attention i crave

right or wrong

you can see right through me

give me what i want

buy me a valentine

and i'm yours

build me a life

and i'll give it away

i am not worth your words

just this moment in time

i won't love you for what you say

but for your silence

in exchange for a tear

to seal my pain inside

i disappeared in your eyes

and tasted freedom on your lips

there's no more time to let it go

Author's Notes/Comments:

yes, pain in poem form. sparatic, unloyal to the line proceeding it... and all in the 2 minutes that was darkest before the dawn.
