Sold to the devil

I sold my soul to the devil my biggest regret,

In return of love as beautiful as the sun set,
Must of missed the small print because all I ever felt was upset,
Left with memories I only want to forget,
Bitter emptiness after wasted years,
Just going to get fucked up until this feeling disappears,
Alone at night fabricating all my worst fears,
I cried so much I ran out of tears,
Sadness is not a destination I'm just passing by,
Sat under a black cloud waiting for the blue sky,
Bottling up all my emotions wanting them all to die,
Just wanted to get out of there and say goodbye,
Imagine a rock floating through space,
Floating around lost at its own pace,
Tried to find myself but looked in the wrong place,
No one knew that smile was actually my poker face,
One day this rock changed direction,
Full force let's call it a gravitational connection,
I wasn't just one rock, now I'm in a collection,
Orbiting the sun feeling the warmth love and affection,
Never again will I lose the power that lies within me,
Faith is seeing the light with your heart when darkness is all you can see,
I will forever cherish this beautiful light, he set me free
