I love you I really do.
But you have no idea how much that scares me.
I was afraid of heights.
Well, more so the fall and the fear of not being caught once I did.
But you caught me and you hold me high above your head and that alone fills me with dread.
What if I'm too heavy and you can no longer hold me?
You would throw me to the ground and that would not be a soft landing.
I know, I've felt it before.
I trust you not to do that.
But what if you did?
Could I live with myself after that fall?
Probably not.
It would quite literally be the death of me.
With time and knowing
