Adieu

Folder:
Older

In silence I lie here,

This feeling is such bliss,

My head upon your chest,

Your kiss lingers on my lips

I know I cannot sleep now,

These feelings aren't precise,

Everything in all perfection

Then the tears fall from my eyes

But here in this silence,

Just the two of us at bay,

Your head upon my chest,

So many words I want to say

My loneliness it calls to me

My home, a far off place,

The darkness of my fate screams,

Now I must be on my way,

Blanketed by your arms,

The world shall drift to sea,

And even though I leave today,

I'm taking you with me
