Hurricane Katrina

It is a terrible horrible shame, oh the wind, water and the rain that came!

Hurricane Katrina wrath came down, oh, and all the people that it drowned, numerous lives and property is lost, New Orleans Alabama, Mississippi, almost the whole Gulf coast. Major destruction is hurting the most.

So many people dead that they cannot count, so many dead bodies that they have not even found.

So many of the dead had to be just left to lie on the ground, left to rot; and stink in the heat and smoldering sun as the water subsides.

Why didn’t our government stop to think more of their lives?

They did not come to their rescue. If they were all affluent people I wonder would it still be true? I don’t think that the wait and see game would have happened do you? What in the name of Jesus were the people to do?

The poor folks of the Gulf coast are human beings, God property without a doubt! Why didn’t they get the warning to leave, to get out? Is this what racism or economics is all about?

Katrina, a level five hurricane, is Mother Nature cleaning her frame from all the toxic poisons that are spewed in the atmosphere and all the rockets and space shuttles too, what else could Mother Nature do, but to cleans the atmosphere so that we can continue to breathe?

Why were the innocent victims who survived, and had to leave were called refugees? Aren’t they Americans still basically? I just don’t understand. No water, or food did they have for days they went without! And when the black searching for food they were looting, and why did the government give orders for shooting. The whites were not looting, they were finding food, my Lord how could the media be so rude?

Now there is talk of mass graves there are so many dead.

Another, horrible thought for the living loved ones to endure. Oh, is impossible for them to take any more?

Now the living loved ones cannot bury their dead, since they have to be put in the ground in a hurry to stop the spread of disease and illnesses to add to all the woes.

Why didn’t our government stop to think more of their lives?

They are human beings, God property without a doubt

Whey didn’t they warn them to leave, to get out?

Is this what racism or economics is all about?

President George Bush rode over the disaster with his dog by his side for all to see, did he not think for one second that gesture an insult would be? He did not care, he did not go into the coliseum to see and smell the hell they endured. Raping, killing and madness ensuing he must be impeached since he does not know what he is doing.

Somebody dropped the ball, and let the people of Gulf coast fall.

No one wants to take the blame for this monumental pain that was born from Katrina’s winds and rain. I never thought I’d live to see America act so disrespectfully yet again. Just looking at the victims and all they have been through, if you had to go through what they have been would you be mentally sound? I know that I would not be.

From here we begin to heal, the nightmare has passed, now rebuilding from this devastation we have to now deal with the price of gas! Will the greed ever end? Lord knows it is truly a sin for the price of gas to be so high after all those innocent people had to die from a natural disaster. We are still slaves of ignorance, greed and selfishness, our master.

Author's Notes/Comments:

We better wake up! We better get off our butts and get to the polls, write letters make calls. This atrocity cannot go unpunished. President George Bush must pay for his negligence. He did a lot worst than get some head, most of all there were no monumental deaths. No one died when Clinton was being threatened with impeachment! Bush should be impeached.

I agree with you. God take Bush Cheney Scalia etc out of power now. What is the most frightening is that
many believe Katrina was deliberately amplified by
weather manipulation so that plutocrats could take over
Louisiana shoreline property.

I agree with you completely. This government is the most inept in American history. We must take it back!
