Tomorrow's dragons seem so weak,
Yesterday's, scars burn on my cheek.
Today's twist, screech, fly and rush,
They bring insanity to crush.
Dragons of old, their fangs may pierce,
Those yet to come fight just as fierce.
My dragons' fangs have scarred my head,
He cuts my mind, I think I'm dead.
He pushed me down into the pit,
Brace yourself, this might sting a bit.
These dragons rage, and hiss and claw,
Can break a man in half like straw.
A dragon's hug, his bleeding kiss,
He'll drag you down to the abyss.
My dragon's arms are strong and thick,
His skin is hard and rough like brick.
My dragon's always been my friend,
My dragon's caused my back to bend,
Over, backwards, upside down,
He's taught me how to hide my frown.
He's taught me a great many things,
Like how to torment human beings.
He's given me a key to hell,
And taught me how to use it well.
My dragon used to make me cry,
But now, I hold it in, or die.
My dragon watches over me,
He's just the way a friend should be.
Everyone should have their own,
How else will everyone be shown?
That in this life, some things are hard,
But a dragon's like a joker card,
They'll help you deal when times get tough,
And show you ways to dust you off.
They're always up to have some fun,
And even when the fun time's done,
They're always with you, at your side,
He holds your leash, keeps you in stride.
He's got a chain around my neck,
This safety rope keeps me in check.
Without my friend, where would I be?
He's here, he's strong, to protect me?
