Matthews life has been all

police cars and ambulances

And sleeping on benches in cells,

And making his alcoholic mother cry,

Matthews life has been all

Boredom and thrill seeking,

And running from love and saftey,

And getting kicked out of everything hes ever entered

Matthews life has been all

Pill popping and sniff snorting

And dope smoking, and beer guzzling,

And whore fucking

Coming home and passing out

On his confused staffy dog, China.

And the night that Matthew walked me home,

He kissed me just outside my door

And that kiss was not of a boy who I have described above

But a lonely little boy-

Who was desperate for love...
