Die today, reborn tomorrow,
A simple fate with no sorrow.
With time we grow like a fern,
Being taught the lessons we must learn.
We the student, life the teacher,
We become our beliefs, preaching to the preacher.
I am right and you are wrong,
Though I am weak, and you are strong.
All the answers, to far to reach,
Though blindly we pretend to teach.
None are wrong and none are right,
Unable to understand the purpose, though try we might.
Try and try to force on others our views,
Creating spectacles for the daily news.
Live in harmony is to much ask,
For peace is only war disguised in a mask.
To comprehend is to understand,
In our differences we are linked by a common strand.
We cut the ties,
Believe our own lies.
Forcing ourselves to blindly hate,
Not seeing the destruction we create.
To respect thy fellow being,
Is the answer were not all seeing.
