MY MOTHER IS CRYING ON HER FATHER’S GRAVE

My mother is crying on her father’s grave

mentioning people and places

to me unknown

The unknown words’re still echoing in my bones

names of the places, events

Not while ago, my grandfather was alive

I still remember him smile

slurping his soup

comparing noodles to the worms

playing the gusle.

My mother is loosing consciousness

we take her away

to forget

what - we don’t know

Nikola,
The most difficult thing to loose is someone you love. He may be gone in flesh, yet his spirit will be with you forever. Beautiful words, filled with deep emotion. Love, peace and freedom, Linda
