Because I Love Him

Dormant volcanoes

Suddenly erupt.

Thoughts

Not at all apt.

Principles forgotten,

Yearning for his Eden,

Willing to turn Friends

Into Foes.

Dry riverbeds

Gradually overflow.

Touched

To my very core.

My life enriched,

Priorities switched,

Listening to my heart

'stead of my head.

Stormy skies

Presently calm.

He

Is my soul's balm.

Together we will travel,

And everyone will marvel,

At the light of love

In my eyes.

Very beautiful and soulful.

Very beautiful and soulful. It also has a spiritual quality that's often lacking in love poems. Great poem!

Dormant Suddenly Thougths Not Principles Yearning Willing Into Dry Gradually Touched To My Priorities Listening 'stead Stormy Presently He Is Together And At In wow... what a message.... love it
