In full bloom
when a day is in full bloom your senses
feel alive the sun was playing around
with the clouds up high
while the water was splashing around keeping
the kids nice and cooled from the sun
you were so very wet
that you want to have a break and dried yourself off
you stopped and listened to the birds that were
playing in a tree near by where you
were drying off, they were
singing lovely tunes that seemed so far off
that you wanted to reach
the sky and try to fly in
that moment so very up high you wanted to play
with the birds and sing with them
very in this season all are well ever so there
flowers are dwill where their scents
was pleasant so very pleasant
that you lost what you were doing and fill to
the ground were the kids are splashing around

"...you lost what you were doing..." I feel that way when I go in the pantry and forget what I went in there for. (65 years it took me to learn how to forget like that). This line speaks volumes to me. Write on! ~allets~
