Clamor is the sound I hear

when your cookin in the kitchen, dear.

You bang the pots and bang the pans,

and for good measure, the garbage can.

When washing dishes, you wipe and sprinkle.

Oh! My precious glasses, I'm hearing tinkle.

But I better not hear, any breaking glass,

or my love, I'm gonna have your.....cash.

I can hear you groan, swear and mutter.

You're dusted with flour and greased with butter.

You burned your hand, I hear you shout...

"It's ok. Don't come in! You must stay out!"

What's going on, I can already guess.

And it'll be confirmed by the mess.

You see, this is my own special day.

He's showin his love in this unorthodox way.

Althought I dread it when he bakes,

I'll always love him & my birthday cake!
