'02 There I Am+

I am not much for talks.

Though I do take long walks.

I cleanse my mind of junk.

                                            don't want a messy intellect,

don't even like to feel too drunk,

really do not have time to stare,

Maybe... I just do not care.

I want to keep on moving,

                           keep my mind rolling,

I could go back to my humble abode,

Have myself one of those episodes?

or get lost on this same winding road,

I really do not like to make THIS a routine.

I'd just get side-tracked over again,

                                     not knowing,

                   where else to begin.

Author's Notes/Comments:

It is really nice to get lost once in a while. Unscramble yourself and see if you can find a different part of you that you didn't know you had.

The path ot the "SEEKER" is rigoreous and difficult and oft
times disheartning. To stop short of the goal is to waste time and to complete the journey is to end time.

Good luck and cling soley to your faith for only it is sufficient.
I read a bunch of ur things and this is what came to my mind....LOL

It is perfect how you used the text to form a visual image of being scrambled. A true poet not only writes the feeling but also sees the emotion. You help us to "see" it in this poem. BRAVO!
