More About Me

What I want you to know about me...

Spirituality, learning from my precious gifts-my children, teaching African American history, reading voraciously (all types of subjects), maintaining my health, understanding and developing strategies to benefit the low-income, African American community, knitting and developing my talents and skills in spoken word and other areas of interest.

I've learned one important thing that drives my entire life, purpose and focus: God, The Creator, is Sovereign and my obedience to Her/His will and work is my calling. My spirituality is centered around The Creator and understanding what life means. I enjoy humanity and want the world to be the place God calls it to be. My part is to be a good person.

I've benefited from the love, support, and nurturing of an extended clan of family, friends, and colleagues and for that I feel and know that I am tremendously blessed. There are two people who have taught me the most about love, my children: Jonathan and Faith. They give unconditionally and teach me that with faith, hope, and love, anything is possible. This then, is my creed: faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not yet seen.
