More About Me

What I want you to know about me...

For some I am easy to reach, for others I am unreachable. For some I would die, others I would let die. I have many different faces but when I love, I have only one: a heart, which is ready for everything.

I have learned, no matter how much I care, many people don’t care. I have learned that it takes years to build up trust, but only seconds to destroy. I have learned that it doesn’t count in life what you have, but “who” you have. Nothing we experience, but only what we feel, makes up our lives. When I laugh, it does not mean that I am happy. I have often laughed so that I would not cry. It has come to a point in my life where I realized who is important to me, who never was and who always will be. That is why I don’t have thoughts about people from my past; there are reasons why they did not manage to be in my future…

Maybe the universe wants us to meet the “wrong” people, before we meet the “right” ones, so that when we finally have met the right person, we are thankful for that endless, beautiful gift.

It is true, that we sometimes don’t appreciate what we have until we lose it, but it is also true, that we don’t know what we are missing until we find it. When the door of opportunity closes, a new one opens, but we stare so long at the closed door that we don’t see the doors that are newly opened for us. A best friend is a friend with whom you swing back and forth on a swing on the porch, without saying a word, and when you go, you have the feeling, that this was the best conversation that you’ve ever had. Don’t look for beauty, it is deceptive. Don’t look for wealth, it is transitory…

Für die Einen bin ich leicht zu erreichen, für andere unerreichbar. Für die Einen würde ich sterben, andere würde ich sterben lassen. Ich habe viele verschiedene Gesichter und doch, wenn ich liebe, habe ich nur eines: Ein Herz, welches zu allem bereit ist. 

Ich habe gelernt, egal wie viel ich mich kümmere, manche Menschen kümmert es nicht. Ich habe gelernt, dass es Jahre braucht Vertrauen aufzubauen, aber nur Sekunden um es zu zerstören. Ich habe gelernt, dass es im Leben nicht zählt was du hast, sondern „wen“ du hast. Nicht was wir erleben, sondern wie wir es empfinden, macht unser Leben aus. Wenn ich lächle heißt es nicht, dass ich glücklich bin. Ich habe schon so oft gelacht um nicht weinen zu müssen. Es kommt der Zeitpunkt in meinem Leben wo ich realisiere, wer mir wichtig ist, wer es nie war und immer sein wird, darum mache ich mir keine Gedanken über die Menschen aus meiner Vergangenheit, es gibt Gründe warum sie es nicht in meine Zukunft geschafft haben.....

Vielleicht möchte das Universum, dass wir die "falschen" Menschen treffen, bevor wir den "richtigen" begegnen, so dass wir, wenn wir endlich die richtige Person getroffen haben, dankbar sind für dieses unendliche schöne Geschenk. 

Es ist wahr, dass wir manchmal nicht schätzen was wir haben, bis wir es verlieren, aber es ist auch wahr, dass wir nicht wissen, was wir vermissen, bis es uns begegnet. Wenn die Türe des Glückes sich schließt, öffnet sich eine Neue, aber wir starren so lange auf die verschlossene Pforte, dass wir das für uns neu geöffnete Tor nicht sehen. Der beste Freund ist der Freund mit dem du auf der Veranda in einer Schaukel wippst, ohne ein Wort zu sprechen, und wenn du gehst, das Gefühl hast, dass dies die beste Unterhaltung war, die du jemals geführt hast. Suche nicht nach Schönheit; sie ist trügerisch. Suche nicht nach Reichtum; er ist vergänglich…
