Where lovers come to die [Experimental]

Come and rest your head

Seek shelter under my shadow

Where lovers come to die

Can you smell the grass?

The flowers that only bloom

On the corpses of others

Be like the great river

Wash away the pain and disbelief

Come and take my hand

Seek shelter in my embrace

Come and take my soul

Where lovers come to die

"The flowers that only

"The flowers that only bloom

On the corpses of others"---

It's like the saying, "the grass is always greener"---cuz like...who cares if there are flowers on my corpse if I'm dead?

flowers on corpses

Make flower shops money,

So bring me

some good memories

and things you learned to make

your life easier

and more worth living.

wrap it up in a rusted coffee can

from some dark alley

where babies lie in dumpsters

and place it somewhere

all can see and be comforted

just as you were by my hands.

Give me life in my death,

and not sorrow for

what you forgot to do

or prevent from hurting you

when I was here.

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "
