STILL SLIPPING AWAY

Folder:
FOLDER 2010

Ships leaving the
port
destined for
foreign waters
fearful to tread
unknown territory.

Confidence
slipping away.

A lovely blossom
in full bloom
heat scorching
the petals
lets go of the stem.

Beauty
slipping away.

A true love once
flourished
in the passion
of the sun
cools with the
evening breeze.

Emotions
slipping away.

And even if we hold on tight

And even if we hold on tight to it, if it is not meant to be, I do believe, it will still slip away, this is a poem so true, as if it is dedicated to some one you know..
