Yesterday!
I returned to
the beach
Once again to
gather
memories
Looking for a
dream

happy moments
were spent
there
moments to be
cherished.

Gathering  
shells for our
collections
whispered
secrets
laughing
leaving
footprints
in the sand.

Today!
as I wander
back
only one set
of footprints
remain
the other lost
forever
in the sands
of time.
