THE WEB OF TIME

In the rustling of the
leaves
Someone called my name
The voice  so familiar
Same old haunting refrain
Hearing you on that Autumn
day
My mind seemed to float
away
To another time and place
Visions of your handsome
face

Feelings just won't go away
keeps returning day by day
caught up in the web of time
ever present in my rhymes
If I could take tomorrow
Exchange it for today
I'd wrap my arms around
you
Never let you walk away.

How i love the last lines of this poem, never letting you go away...yes, if we can only trade time, for the most important "time" of our life.
