moving on

i think its about time i just take it all down

it was an amazing journey for a while

and i appreciate all that was done

to contribute to my growth

but now that i have wilted

i just can't stand around anymore

watching my own self indulge

in being someone that i abhore

Don't go all drastic on us.

Don't go all drastic on us. Sure, take it down if you have to, but save it. Sometimes you can find a nugget in an old work that you can polish and publish tomorrow.

Thanks, darkpool! Perhaps one

Thanks, darkpool! Perhaps one day I will revisit again. But revisiting is what had me judging my work in the first place. Someday, I will learn not to be so hard on myself. But hey, there's always more room to grow, right? Now I just gotta get outa my own way and write new. Appreciate your words...Thanks for encouragement!

Abhorence

I felt the same way and took down 1000 plus poems - feeling quite futile, but time is a healer and slow is a pace to embrace. I write less now, little prose, so I cleaned out my closet and my bedroom is full of things I have not used or seen in a while. Time to give away too big clothes, too small shoes...like the poetry. Time to clean it out is all. - Write and Grow Healedwoman - it is your destiny and mine - Stella
