Like Ash in Wind

I feel split,
dispersed
like ash in wind:
a mound once formed,
now fragmented over the earth.

Grounded,
like so many others before,
and confounded
at what it shall birth.

Rising from ashes she rose

Rising from ashes
she rose from her grave
and found that she was really brave

she spread her wings and looked to the sky
with a couple of flutters she started to fly.
