Time flys

Time flys by

but where does it go

at this tomorrow

ill be 90 years old

no time to blink

life will pass u by

a lifetime is fast

a twinkle of an eye

at 2 years old I pee in the pot

at 70 years old will I make it or not

not long ago i wasn't very old

Woke up today I'm 90 years old

it's time to go

i have stuff to do

cherish your days

your days will cherish you.

Your

style of writing reminds me of my own. I wrote a poem almost the same on this very topic.

It is said

And well said.

We cant make it

But we try.

That simple  " Do it  " in the picture

Until the day we die .

I like it

I really like the ending of this poem.  You found a good balance in making a declaritive statement about life and not coming off too preachy.  I have this problem in my own writing.

Yes In Deed!

Nice one! - allets

.

A day cherished

is a solid series

of memories

to unveil later

when it is hard

to cherish anything.

.

Days should be seized,

conquered, stashed

away for later.

.

Time flies as does

unfulfilled dreaming.

Get up and go

celebrate you or me

or no one of consequence.

.

Rally the feet, hail eyes

to open, now order the body

to carry you fast and safely

into the next thing

happening.
