Daisies

Innocent romances and innocent dreams

Could satisfy a mind, that was pure and clean.

Compulsory happiness was so easy, it seems

Until we grow up to forget the things

That gave us the chance to take advantage of time,

To fall in love with anyone that was on our minds.

Did you see the Daisies? Growing by the playground wall?

They taught me everything except that all who stand up fall.

So i'll never stand for anything, Theres a reason we crawl when we are born,

We had the right idea back then, But curiosity demanded more.

More is always less, we stood up to be adored,

Only to be dropped at deaths door.
