ARCADE AND CARNIVAL FRONTMAN

ABSTRACT POEMS

         Come one, Come all.

         Yes, it will be fun.

         A maze you can run.

Yes, each of you, can get a ball.

         Don't walk by.

If you ask why, I will tell you.

Take this pie, and see if you can hit that guy.

         Hey.  Don't run away.  OK?

         Don't be shy.

         Don't cry.

         Give it a try.

Don't think twice, it will be nice.

Oh no, don't go.  These balls you can pick up

         and throw.

To do it, that is how.

         Now, you know,

Hurry, hurry, hurry.  Run, run, run.

         It will be fun.

I haven't been to a Carnnival in a really long time. When I would visit my Dad in the Summer we usually tried to plan my visits to be during the time the County Fair was in town. Thank you for letting me remember the sites and the sounds.
