SUMMER AT CAPE COD

ABSTRACT POEMS

Summer at Cape Cod.  oh, Summer at Cape Cod.

        There is no TV.

There is no pool.  It is not cool.

It is very hot.  There is not even a fan.

I feel I am going to rot.

There is no phone.  I feel so alone.

Summer at Cape Cod.  Oh, summer at Cape Cod.

        This breakfast and bed

        is really causing

a major pain in my head.

The food here is bad.  It makes me really sad.

I would rather not be fed.

Summer at Cape Cod.  Oh, summer at Cape Cod.

        Today, it rained.

At least it beat the heat.

        I felt really pained.

We went to the street called Main.

        It was really a pain.

Summer at Cape Cod.  Oh, summer at Cape Cod.

        We went into a store.

        It was really a bore.

We wanted to do some shopping.

At this game, we felt we were losing.

All of the stores were hopping.

Moving got to be a chore, it was really bruising.

Summer at Cape Cod.  Oh, summer at Cape Cod.

The cape is a beautiful place,go in off season after labor day, less expensive, less traffic and plenty to see and do and temps muchmore comfortable with ocean breeze. I know I lived down there in 1999,but don't ever plan to live there unless you have a lot of dough rey me because expensive to live there and jobs are few and far between and literally pay squat.Youre better to live outside in the burbs from Boston like I do. The 128 belt full of industry and industry in Framingham, waltham, and worcester areas best for job seekers
