Sweet words spoken in hushed voices in the still of the night.
The intimacy created whilst under the covers.
They love with a passion that creates intense heat; he knows he must promise or she will take flight.
She hears his whispered words, her ears burns with fire;
Sweet taunts of destiny and love carried on breath.
If words were the sun, ears aflame with desire.
He tells her in time they will be together, their lives are entwined only parted by death.
Do his lips speak the truth?
She wants to believe what he tells her is true;
He blurs her eyes with a vision of heaven , of this theres no proof.
The words are his oath; love blinds her, his promise so new.
She longs for the day when he takes her as wife.
Her heart swells at promised love for all life.
