Ken Janda's Four Political Ideologies

Folder:
Politics

In terms of politics in general, public policies, or social reform,

are you a liberal, libertarian, communitarian, or conservative?

According to Ken Janda, liberals value equality over freedom and freedom over order.

Libertarians want freedom rather than both equality and order.

Conservatives choose order instead of freedom and freedom instead of equality.

And lastly, communitarians are known to value freedom least of all and rather have somewhat of both equality and order characterisitics.

Please visit idealog.org to find out which of the four you may find yourself in.

A series of twenty question will be asked each with a scenario with two decisions to choose from.  It's simple!

To run the idealog program, go to ideolog.org and simply click "Run IDEAlog" at the left column, click the rectangular box with the words "Run IDEAlog!" (you may need a Macromedia Flash 5 plug-in to work this program), enter your e-mail (it's optional by the way) and/or go on ahead to click "Next" where the arrow points, read the intro and tutorial (optional) and/or click the "Self -Test" link to begin.  Remember, twenty questions will be asked with two decisions to choose from.  The smiley face you see will move according to the choices you make.  Once you've finished, the position of the smiley face will tell you if you're classified under one of the political idealogies in one of the boxes or somewhere in between.  I found out I'm in the middle!  Go and try it out.  It's worth a shot to find out what political ideology you follow in terms of the U.S. government.  Enjoy!

Author's Notes/Comments:

I'm not surprised my smiley face was in the middle.  Try to find out what political ideology you follow!
