Darling Noboneeta,

I know you may not read this

No one reads letters in 2016

In this era of eMail

A handwritten letter is of little value

My words are written with orange tint

Of the last setting sun

Draw curtains on letters

Shall mingle with night's darkness

I can't see your face in the dark

I recollect the evenings together

On the riverside shelling peanuts

Now I read your typed messages

But can't see the tears

Only you send standard emoticons

You never write "Send reply fast"

No dust gathers on your messages

No musty smell as from your letters

I have preserved all your old letters

You said "What's the reason ? meaningless!"

Do you remember I used to write you poems

Those poems have been lost forever

On their way to their burial

Forever yours, Anshuman
