Unbelievable but True..

I actually watched the man push the knife into his victims back, Once, twice, three times. The victim remained standing with a grin on his face. I shouted, Stop that you will kill the man. The grin now on the victims face increased as if he was enjoying some weird joke.

The man with the knife now looked at me and stabbed himself with the knife. He too started to laugh. I thought at first to go and take the knife from the man. The victim with the three knife stabs was rolling on the floor he looked at me and laughed even louder.

I looked again first at the man rolling on the floor laughing at some joke unknown to me and at the man that had stabbed himself in the chest. Something was wrong. No blood was to be seen neither on the man that had stabbed himself nor on his victim. The man that stabbed himself in the chest threw the knife at me with the words Stab yourself it doesn’t hurt.

I deftly caught the knife and by pushing the blade, the blade disappeared into the handle, It was some kind of theatre prop and I had fallen for it. The noise of a Police car approaching at high speed stopped the grins and the laughter of the man still on the floor. Both started to run but I caught the one that had lain on the floor and held him until the Police car stopped.

The Police asked me no end of questions but when I handed them the knife with the disappearing blade. Their attitude changed. An elderly woman came onto the scene and told the Policemen that it was she that had telephoned. She too had been taken in by the supposedly killing by stabbing and the attempted suicide by the man that had run off.

The Police officers finished taking down the statements from the elderly woman and myself when another Police officer  appeared with the man that had run off. Now both Victim and the Suicide man were asking us all if we understood that the whole thing had been one big joke. It was the elderly woman that got in the first answer. Joke you call it I nearly had a heart attack seeing you stab him, Pointing to the victim and then stabbing yourself in the chest, It is a wonder that this man, Pointing to me did not attack you and take the knife from you.

She calmed down when I told her that I had realised that something was wrong and that the lack of blood from the man lying on the floor and no blood from the man that stabbed himself in the chest was why I did not do anything. This man threw the knife to me and I saw that it was one of those knives that are sometimes used in the Theatre. The two men were charged with causing a Breach of the Peace and were taken to court both were fined a heavy fine and warned not to do any more theatrical scenes like this in Public.

Wannabe actors who wanted to hurt others emotionally. They're lucky there were no more serious consequences of their tomfoolery.

My Dear Respected Universal Messaging Machine Man of Mars,

Last night I dreamed that I had sent my son to a Bank to exchange a torn Rs.500/- note. They bluntly refused Frown Then he went somewhere else and came back licking a choco-bar ice-cream Smile In the morning I narrated my dream to him.He said that he had cunningly passed on the torn note to the ice-cream seller.Surprised I looked into the pages of my dusty note-pad and saw that the Rs.500/- was still grinning at me .Laughing In that dream I had a cellphone which was a 500m.l. soda water bottle without any buttons on it.I wonder how I would have used it?? Surprised Even dreams are difficult to comprehend off late.Laughing My Dear mate please don't go on stabbing people with "trick daggers" And for that matter mate I do not use a pacemaker.LaughingBut maybe I'll need it after .... ....
